From my experience, there are six types of lovers in affairs.
Casanovas
Casanovas are the true lovers. They love women, all woman. They love romance, and they love sex. Casanovas invest their time, talents and hearts into any affair, making sure that is it fulfilling and centred around the woman. These lovers make great confidants as long as the woman doesn’t consume all their time and attention (because you can guarantee that a Casanova will have other women in his book that he is wooing.) They are essentially pleasers and can be called a Pleasure Top as they seek after the woman’s pleasure in order to be emotionally satisfied themselves. Make the most of Casanovas, maintain your agreements, don’t get jealous, and he will treat you like a Queen.
Manwhores
Manwhores are the quintessential Don Juans, womanisers who focus on their own pleasure. They are usually the eternal bachelor-types that see women as the opposition and want to catch them all in the name of the game. They tend to be bad boys and so attract a lot of naïve women only to destroy them. They don’t allow any woman to think she has a chance at anything long-term, and he exits the bedroom as soon as he’s finished. No romancing, only fucking. Still, he makes women beg for more (bad treatment) because he is usually so damn good looking. These are the fuckboys that never grew up. Stay away unless you know how to play their game. Make sure you take control of Manwhores by being direct and decisive on when they can see you, when they can fuck you, and when they must leave you in peace. Use their fucking talents, but never let them get the better of you. Make it known to them that you are just using them and they will fall in line because of the awe they feel from a woman doing to them what they usually do to women.
Fuckboys
Fuckboys are the baby version of manwhores. They are boys who use women for sex. They aren’t that good at sex yet, so are focused on getting as many willing women as possibly to bolster their ego and gain experience. Fuckboys are the ones you find on Tinder. They are after the easy and desperate catches where they can get a ‘right now’ commitment, get quick satisfaction and escape into the night. Fuckboys can turn into Casanovas if they have a good boy core, but most graduate to only being a Manwhore. Use fuckboys the way they intend to use you – if you keep the upper-hand, you will never lose out, and you will have some short-term fun.
Desperados
Desperados are men who have had very little sex, usually because they were late bloomers, nerdy or just didn’t have to looks or charisma. They try to be Fuckboys, but fail dismally. These men tend to latch on and won’t let go (whereas Fuckboys know when to quit). Desperados don’t pick up women’s cues and outstay their welcome. They feel at a woman’s mercy, and often use guilt tactics to get their way. When they are rejected, they can turn on the very woman they were wooing, calling her names and degrading her. Desperadoes have self-esteem issues and are quite immature with interactions and relationships because of their lack of opportunity. Sometimes they get lucky, but so much rejection has soured their view of women. Only use Desperados if you want to practice your Mistressing and taking charge of a situation.
Manopausers
Manopausers are men who are essentially going through a midlife crisis and need to feel like they still got it. They try to use their old techniques picking up a woman before they got their wife, not realising they are very outdated. Manopausers can be quite misogynistic, but that is often because of the generation they grew up in – old habits die hard. Even though Manopausers are mature, they tend to have limited sexual experience and tend to like cliche intimacy, which can make liaisons with them quite boring. However, they can be quiet charming and they certainly know how to do old school romance. Just think of dating someone from your father’s generation, and you’ll know what I mean.
Fizzlers
Fizzlers essentially burn bright at the start, coming on too strong and then fizzle out quickly. They enjoy the rush of first meets and first sex, and work very hard to build up to them. But afterwards, they lose interest, and just when you think they have ghosted you, they make a return. Sometimes they are called Zombies, as they rise from the dead after a short ghosting. An affair with a Fizzler is hot and cold, giving you whiplash, every time they reconnect. Often they find love-needy women who will keep hanging on while the Fizzler leaves to have shorter affairs with others. When no one is available, or they have run out of options, Fizzlers make their return. Fizzlers are best used as extras – when no one else is around and you just need to get out of the house for a movie night. Using their own tactics on themselves will keep them in check, and will make them want to be available when you call.
Sometimes, you might get a combination of a few types rolled into one lover, and it largely depends on how the Mistress allows themselves to be treated. Lovers tend to be opportunists, which means they can be manipulated into a lover the Mistress so desires. To do this, it is important for a Mistress to recognise her lover’s type/s, understand her own needs and how to curve the behaviour of her lover/s into what she wants.
