Pre-Made vs. Created Submissives

When a Domina meets a new submissive, she can usually tell within a few minutes whether he is “pre-made” or ready to be “created.”

Pre-Made Submissives

A pre-made submissive comes ready-packaged. He has labels, fetishes, and a list of what he wants to experience. He has read articles, watched porn, maybe even played with ProDommes, and has practiced stretching or feminisation, and such, on his own. He comes with his fantasies intact. I am a foot slave. I am a sissy maid. I want to be humiliated.

From his perspective, he already knows what he likes, so he is saving Her time by being clear, and fast-tracking their Dynamic to the “good stuff” straight away. To a lot of Domina, this is what they want—a pre-made submissive so they don’t have to go through the long process of training. But to other Domina, it can feel restricting. Pre-made submissives present themselves like set menus. Instead of offering themselves as ingredients for the Domina to mix and mould, they come as a baked cake ready to serve. A Domina may use some of what he offers, but his pre-shaped orientation limits the scope of what She can create.

Created Submissives

A created submissive may have desires, but he does not present them as something that already shapes him. He offers himself as material for the Domina’s vision, to sculpt, to direct, and make into whatever She wants. For Dominas who thrive on authorship, this is exhilarating. A created submissive is like clay. His submission is defined by Her choices, not his pre-written fantasies. She wants to sculpt, invent, and direct, and so such a submissive becomes a product of Her desire, not a facilitator of his own.

Knowing Difference

Pre-made submissives tend to frustrate Dominas because they often confuse fantasy with devotion. They assume their readiness is attractive, but what they are actually offering is control. “This is who I am, and this is what You must do with me.” Created submissives, by contrast, transmit the essence of submission, “I am here for what you will make of me.”

Neither archetype is better than the other, but they are not equally compelling. Pre-made submissives fit best with Dominatrices or ProDommes who enjoy delivering scenes on demand. Created submissives fit best with lifestyle Femdoms who value authorship and originality. They enjoy the training process, and the time and care spent to create their submissive to be perfect for Them.

For Beginners

Ask yourself: Do I have a fantasy I want fulfilled, or do I desire to fulfil My Domina’s fantasy? If your approach is filled with labels and requests, you are presenting as pre-made. If your approach is an invitation—use me as you desire—you are presenting as created.
